YOUR SHARE of WINTER HARVEST Week of March 9

The vegetables I plan to harvest for your share this week: actual harvest may vary depending on condition of the crops harvest day

• Cosmic Purple Carrots - large flavorful carrots, great for roasting & juicing
• Scarlet Turnips - small, bright red turnips
• Collard Greens - essential winter greens for soups and sauteed southern style
• Zefa Fino Fennel Bulb - lovely flavor complement to carrots in soup, salad or roasted
• Chinese Watermelon Radishes - round radishes tinged green when sliced have beautiful pink centers
• Brussel Sprouts - the last of the season
• Green Garlic - the leaves of the garlic plant, very garlicky & tender for salads or sauteeing with your greens
